Sound: Very good soundboard.
Comments: There are at least 3
different versions of this concert available. The first one is the
version that I previously had, which was a 1 cd incarnation, and
consisted of only the 2nd half of the concert. Totally incomplete.
Another version I came across contained the complete concert, but was
put together in such a manner that it required 3 cds, with some
meaningless bonus tracks at the end of disc 3 (i.e. Puff Daddy's 'I'll
Be Missing You'.... That kind of garbage). The version that I settled
on is a 2 cd bootleg that contains the entire Verona '88 performance,
with none of the filler/junk. Just the complete show. That's what you
see here. You'll note
that the audio on
disc one is kind of sketchy. You can hear the audio cutting out on one
channel quite frequetly. I don't know what to attruibute it to, but the
worst of it is toward the beginning of the disc. There is no way to
repair this, as the problems occur on both channels.
