Sound: Excellent audience.

Comments:  This was evidently some kind of warm up, or practice gig, at the very beginning of the 1996 'Mercury Falling' tour. It was actually recorded on the 9th of March, not the 8th, as the sleeve art for this bootleg claims. There were about 1000 people in the audience, so it was nice and intimate, and it shows in the recording. Sting seems relaxed, and the new material sounds great. At the beginning of the show, he mentions that if any of the band members make any mistakes during the new songs, that they should be singled out, and should get an earfull. He then mentions that this does not apply if he is to screw up. In this case, everyone should keep quiet, and pretend that they didn't notice.
